Ndzhaka’s close proximity to the dam ensures an abundance of wildlife including an amazing birding experience around the camp as they move to and from the water to drink. Besides the resident herd of nyalas, big game is often sighted in the thick bush surrounding the camp.

The word Ndzhaka means "heritage" and with the friendly hospitality of the local staff and the thrill of being so close to wildlife and nature, the camp is a true African gem. The camp is known and loved for its rustic, no-frills ambiance and maintains a feeling of exclusivity with only five two-sleeper safari tents with open-air en-suite bathrooms all on individual raised wooden decks.  As the camp is electricity-free, solar or paraffin lanterns are provided for light at night.
